Account Settings

MyScorecard maintains most of your account information and settings on the Account Admin page. You can go there to confirm, check, or update your information.

Account Information
You can update your name, email, as well as renew/extend your membership in our account administration section. You can also click on the "Account" link at the top of your Scorecard.
You can pay for your membership at any time, and your scores will remain safe and intact in your scorecard. To view the expiration of your trial and to continue your membership, you can go to your account page.
If you forget your password, you will be taken to the password recovery page, where you can have your password sent to you. Alternatively, you can send an email to support@myscorecard.com requesting your password. Include your first and last name, user name, and zip code.
To view the expiration of your trial and to renew your membership, you can go to the account page. You can pay by credit card, or by check, or via PayPal.
The most recent version of the Membership Agreement can always be found at https://www.MyScorecard.com/agreement.html

Privacy
All details about how MyScorecard protects your privacy and personal information are located in our Privacy Statement
The USGA requires that if you have an official USGA handicap that we make your name and handicap information as well as your recent scores available to anyone who wishes to look up and confirm your information. We do this via the Peer Review function, accessible to both members and non-members.

However, if you do not belong to an official club, then you are able to go to your preferences page and change your Viewing Preferences setting to disable Peer Review. This will update your privacy settings and make your information invisible to anyone who searches.

If you are a member of an Official Club, you will need to remove yourself from that club (via the Club Actions menu on the club overview) before you can change this setting.

Updating my Account
Your password can be updated by going to the Account page.
You can update your email address, password, zip code, and other personal information on the Account page.
Because your username is a unique identifier in our database, we normally do not allow it to be updated. However, if you are willing to keep the first letter the same, we can switch the rest over to whatever you would like (as long as it is not already taken). Just send us an email with the old username and the new one you would like to have.
The information you submitted when you registered - including your email address, password, zip code, and related information - is listed on the Account page.
The statistics you track can be updated by going to the Preferences page. Note that if you replace a statistic you are currently tracking, the information associated with the old statistic will be deleted. You can track up to 10 statistics in total, but we will be enabling more detailed tracking through hole by hole scoring, which is coming soon.
The link for the full list of definitions for each statistic is located on the Preferences page just below where you choose the different statistics.
Because 18-hole and 9-hole scorecards are incompatible, we have no automatic method of switching between them. If you feel that you have chosen the wrong type of Scorecard, please email us with a request to change. We will switch over your account.

Note, however, that when you switch from an 18-hole to a 9-hole scorecard, you will need to split apart your 18-hole scores into individual 9-hole rounds. Similarly, if your switch to an 18-hole Scorecard, you will need to combine your 9-hole rounds into 18-hole rounds.
The courses in your course list are compiled from the scores you have entered. The number of scores used for your course list is set on the Preferences page (link at the top of your Scorecard). There you will see an option to choose the number of scores used for your course list. If you choose 50, that should give you a good amount of scores you can use.

Note that because they tend to be unique, for 18-hole handicaps we do not include 9-hole scores or combined scores in your course list.

To update the information for a course, you can simply change it the next time you enter a score. To retroactively change the specific information for a course, you will need to need to delete the relevant score (usually the most recent) and re-enter the information. If you have several changes or are not able to update the course, please email us with your username, the course name, the old information, and the new information. We will take care of the change for you.
If you would like to terminate your account, you can just send us an email at feedback@myscorecard.com. Please include your username and any feedback you have as to why you wish to closer your account. Your feedback will help us improve the site - and we may be able to solve any issues you have encountered.
